The Chicago Kickers have a proud history of players emerging from our
youth program and playing at NCAA Division I, II and III programs, NAIA
Programs and Junior College Programs.
Our Club Director Tom Soehn, Assistant Club Director Joe Soehn and
Youth Coordinator David Adkisson played NCAA Division I Soccer at
Western Illinois University.
Club President, Bill Zettlmeier and Over 30 Coach, Steve Ruscheinski
and u15 Boys Head Coach Joe Mueller played NCAA Division I Soccer at the University of Wisconsin Green Bay
along with club members Hans Bachmeier and Hall of Famer Erich
Quidzinski.
Many of our Chicago Fire trainers, current coaches and current and
past adult players have also played college soccer.
The Kickers hold an annual College Symposium Night for
high school age club players and their parents. The event is chaired by
college coaches representing different college division levels and there
respective schools.
The overall purpose of the event is to provide aspiring college players with
information regarding the college soccer process.
