Chicago Kickers - Fire Game - Group Outing Sunday, October, 21st @ 2:00pm at Toyota Park
The weather was sunny and in the 70's for the final Fire game outing of the year. At the pre-game tailgate, soccer balls were being juggled in the lot and there were a few scraped knees. The barbeque aromas smelled great! Kickers youth players participated in the pre-game human tunnel and half-time 8v8 game. It was a festive environment with 21,000 hoping to see Beckham play. Both teams needed a result to make the playoffs. Beckham entered the 0-0 game in the 58th minute of the 2nd half and served dangerous balls in the Fire's Goal Box. The Fire hung on and scored a late 2nd half goal to win 1-0.
