Overview (continued)

Our Youth program teams compete in the Young Sportsman's Soccer League, Northern Illinois Soccer League and Illinois Women's Soccer League. Youth teams also compete in various tournaments and indoor leagues. We also started an Instructional Soccer Academy in 2007.

Our youth teams are coached by experienced players and coaches and trained by Chicago Fire players. We feel that the coaching and training provided is of the highest quality and provides a solid basis for player development.

Adult teams compete in ISSA sanctioned leagues. The Men's First Team competes in the Metropolitan Soccer League, The Men's Over 30 Team competes in the Tri-County Soccer League and Men's and Women's under 23 Teams compete in ISSA Managed Summer Leagues.

The Chicago Kickers Soccer Club was established in the 1930s.  Our teams have won League, State, Regional and National Amateur Championships.

Many of our players have received college scholarships and some have gone on to professional careers in soccer.  MLS veterans Frank Klopas, Brian McBride, Dave Dir, Mark Simpson, and Tommy Soehn have all worn Kicker's Red & White.

Kicker great Adolf Bachmeier, who captained the US National team in 1970,  was inducted into the National Soccer Hall of Fame in 2002.

Even though our primary focus is soccer, The Chicago Kickers are much more than just a soccer club. Families started the Chicago Kickers and we continue to truly value the importance of the family in our club.

We take pride in creating a family atmosphere and we have many events during the year that every member of a player’s family can take part in. We host a  Venison Dinner, Winterfest, Summer Golf Outing, Summer Picnic, Oktoberfest Celebration and Holiday Party
